Grooby to Host Second Annual ‘TEA Con’ at Avalon on March 4th

Los Angeles, CA – The TEAs are proud to announce their second annual fan convention, TEA Con, to be hosted on March 4th from 1-5pm at the Avalon in Hollywood. Currently the event has over 30 performers and sponsors confirmed to sign and exhibit that day.

TEA Con is part of three-day schedule of events which include the official pre-party on Friday at the Bardot, TEA Con on Saturday at the Avalon, the TEA Show Celebration hosted by TGirl Events at Cheetahs on Saturday night, and rounding out with the Awards on Sunday night at the Avalon.

“Although it’s only our second time hosting TEA Con, I’ve already seen an increase in interest and predicted attendance since last year,” said Grooby’s Marketing and Editorial Director Kristel Penn. “With the craziness of our other events, we thought this would be a great opportunity for fans to meet their favorite performers in a more casual setting.”

TEA Con is free for those who purchase 3-day all-access passes from theTEAShow.com. Otherwise, it is $5 cash at the door. Customers are encouraged to bring cash to the event as many of the performers will be selling headshots and other merchandise.

The TEAs (also known as the Transgender Erotica Awards), now in its ninth year, celebrates the accomplishments of the trans adult industry and its performers. From its humble beginnings as an online competition started by Grooby, the TEAs are now a three-day event that includes a pre-party, fan convention, and awards program.

The 2017 TEAs will be hosted by viral sensation and TEA Lifetime Achievement winner TS Madison at the Avalon in Hollywood. The pre-party will be held on March 3 at the Bardot, the fan convention will be held on March 4 at the Avalon, and the awards will be held at the Avalon on March 5.  The Avalon and its connecting property, the Bardot, are located at 1735 Vine St, Los Angeles, CA 90028.
